Dwarka school was envisioned as an amenity for the Bharat pattern township being built by Naiknavware Developers at Mhalunge (Ingale), Chakan.

The school began operations on 9 June 2009 as a vision of the Renaissance Education Trust .

In the initial years the school had Learn Today ( Delhi) the education division of the India Today Group as its management partners. The partnership was discontinued since 2014.

The school started functioning with 49 students and 9 fulltime and 2 part time teachers. Being rank newcomer and total outsiders to this area the journey so far has been both challenging and fun.

Today the school vision has proved itself as being acceptable to the local population and after a decade of our being here I am happy to say that we are neither newcomers nor outsiders today.

The growth has been slow and steady and after 10 years the school has 1070 students and 65 teachers.

Dwarka school is affiliated to the CBSE Board since November 2012 and has seen five batches of std X students successfully complete their school education.
