Workshops

The Dwarka School recently conducted a workshop aimed at educating students from Nursery to 5th grade about 'good touch' and 'bad touch.'
The session provided crucial information on recognizing and differentiating between positive and negative physical contact, enhancing students' awareness of their safety and well-being.

Dr. Seema Shah, a speaker at The Dwarka School's Doctor's Day celebration on July 4th, addressed students from classes IX and X. She spoke about the qualities that make a good doctor and the challenges faced by doctors.
Dr. Shah emphasized the importance of empathy, compassion, and effective communication skills in establishing strong doctor-patient relationships. She highlighted the necessity for doctors to continuously update their medical knowledge and skills to provide accurate diagnoses and treatments.
Ethics and professionalism were discussed as crucial aspects of the medical field, stressing patient welfare and confidentiality. The challenges doctors face, such as long working hours, high stress levels, and emotional burdens, were also addressed. Dr. Shah advised students on maintaining a healthy work-life balance and emphasized the significance of teamwork and collaboration in healthcare.
The doctor addressed girls in classes VIII, IX, and X, discussing personal hygiene and good health. Topics covered included menstrual hygiene, proper handwashing, dental care, skin care, healthy eating habits, regular physical activity, and sufficient sleep. This discussion aimed to empower the girls with knowledge and practices for maintaining their overall well-being.
